2. 1997: OCLC Systems & Services Award for Excellence: the most outstanding paper published in "OCLC Systems and Services",1995, vol44 (2): 44-58. The paper was: A Comparison between the online catalogue and the card catalogue: Some Considerations for Re-designing Cataloguing Codes"

3. 1997: University of New South Wales Faculty of Commerce; The Melvin Weinstock Prize for "Contribution to the life of School..."
