Professor Moslehian's homepage

Mohammad Sal Moslehian is a (full) Professor of Mathematics and was a member of the Executive Committee of Iranian Math. Society for 9 years (2004-2012). He has Erdös number 3 (P. Erdös – H. L. Montgomery – P. Enflo - M. S. Moslehian) and his Math. Grandfather is Isaac Newton. He was a Gold Medal type winner of the 13th Annual Iranian University Student Competition in Mathematics in Tehran. At present, he is a Senior Associate of ICTP (Trieste) . He has ISI h-index 14 & Scopus h-index 14. His research concerns (i) Functional Analysis (C*-Algebras, Cohomology of Banach Algebras, Geometry of Banach Spaces, Hilbert C*-Modules); (ii) Operator Theory (Derivations, Homomorphisms); (iii) Linear Algebra (Matrix Analysis, Operator and Norm Inequalities). I established an annual Functional Analysis Award for outstanding papers of Iranian Ph.D. students in the fields of Functional Analysis, Operator Theory and Harmonic Analysis.
