Short Introduction:
The research areas of members include analysis, algebra and their applications. A considerable amount of research articles has also been published in both topics. Some of the subjects in analysis are Functional Analysis, Operator theory, Harmonic Analysis, Functional Equation, and those in algebra are Group, Ring, Modules and Homology. This center has tried to achieve its aims by expanding the interrelationship between analysis and algebra, developing sciences, advancing scientific boundaries, moving toward a knowledge centered society, creating a scientifically active environment, training talent students and publishing research and scientific articles. In recent years, several national and international conferences, seminars and meetings have been held in Ferdowsi University of Mashhad and other higher education institutes under direction of the center of excellence CEAAS.
Objectives:
  1. Establishing a mathematical research center
  2. Organizing meetings and workshops
  3. Inviting international mathematicians and scientific cooperation
  4. Training researchers and establishing some post doctoral programs
  5. Publishing a mathematical research journal
  6. Advancing the quality of mathematical teaching
  7. Attracting talent students to research and training them
  8. Developing sciences with emphasising on interdisciplinary fields.
Major achievements:
  1. Publishing over 130 research articles and scientific books
  2. Approving over 40 research projects
  3. Organizing 9 national mathematical meetings
  4. Presenting lectures in national and international meetings and conferences
  5. Financially supporting to talent students
  6. Cooperating with scientific associations and academic institution
  7. Giving scientific services to journals as editor, referee and reviewer
  8. Training several M.Sc and Ph.D students
