Reza Pishghadam is a specialist in second and foreign language teaching, an applied linguist and educator. Born in Mashhad, Reza Pishghadam obtained his BA in English  Literature  from Ferdowsi University in Mashhad, Iran, in 2001. He obtained his MA (2003) and Ph.D. (2007) in TEFL from Allame Tabatabaee University in Tehran, Iran. After being admitted to the Ph.D program, he gained scholarship from    Ferdowsi University in 2003, and since then, he has been teaching there  courses like: Second Language Research, Language Testing, and  Psycholinguistics, and was then appointed to be Head of the ESP  Department in Ferdowsi University.
